About National Blockchain Project

Overview

The National Blockchain Project at IIT Kanpur is a pioneering initiative funded by the National Security Council Secretariat to develop robust e-governance solutions using blockchain technology[citation:1][citation:5].

The project is executed in multiple phases: a feasibility study, research and development, and an implementation and incubation phase[citation:1]. It has led to the creation of CRUBN, an IIT Kanpur incubated company[citation:7][citation:10].
